Hi!
Thank you for your work!
Is it possible to add compilation to ARM/WinRT to this project?
I'm not good with c++, so I can't do that myself :(

Hello,

well, I guess that's not too easy a task. The main problem is: there is no Intel-compiler for ARM, and the Microsoft-compiler does not understand C99. So either one has to port the code to something the MS-compiler can deal with, or one has to go with another compiler - probably GCC. However, I am not sure whether the GCC-toolchain is ready in order to target WinRT. As far as my understanding goes, the VLC-team has the same kind of trouble (and is determined to do something about it) -> http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1061646928/vlc-for-the-new-windows-8-user-experience-metro. There have also been some efforts in order to automatically convert "C99 to C89" - but I am not sure what the state of these efforts are.
Those are the options afaik... And no, I have no plans to look into this.

I see. VLC should release beta in March, so let's wait for more details. About C99 - can't find anything about this and microsoft compiler.

The tools for conversion are:
https://github.com/libav/c99-to-c89/
Taking into account this person has also souces for libav, I think it might work for ffmpeg also.
Can you please give a try?
